 the thing is, some of us don't hide it because we are ashamed of it but because put us in trouble. My mother is a psychiatrist, she would tell me i'm sick and send me to a hospital, u know? People would say we are crazy and send us away. I don't want to go to a hospital or something like that thats why i hide it.

I’m talking about people who attention whore over it. 

 im gonna say this as a person that does cut. You miss are completely correct. People who post their scars on the internet are stupid and have no common sense. If they wanna hide their scares then so be it and more power to them but to post a picture of them for pity is fucking stupid. i cut my ankles due to the fact i always wear jeans. but i dont go around hiding the fact that i cut. ill proudly wear shorts and dont care about the scars. they are a experience not a burden as people make them.

I can not say anything to make this ask better as this is coming from someone who does it and knows what they are talking about. 

 what makes you think cutting is call for attention? We do it because it makes us feel better, feel something. You don't know how being a cutter feels like, so don't talk about it like it was just a thing that spoiled kid do to call attention. It's not easy. It's not simple.
